Home is where the heart is, but where’s home nowadays?

This may seem horrible to say, but I’ve been home for a day and I already want to go back to college, and not just because then I’ll get to see Fred on a semi-regular basis. Within the four months that made up the Fall 2008 semester, it’s already become my new home and A+ is my family. Steph and Gabe are Mama and Papa duck and the rest of us are the little ducklings. I love hanging with everyone in Hamilton, but unless I’m with them or busying away at Marrazzo’s or in the rare chance that I’ll see an A+er, I won’t know what to do with myself. I think I’ll be very luck if I make it the entire month without losing it on my parents.  I’m sure the “I’m back in Hamilton” entries are beginning to sound repetitive, but the feeling’s still the same. My life’s mainly at Rowan now.

NOTE TO SELF: Make Work Observations, Part Trois very, very soon. With work for a month, I’ll have more to add to my list of the woes of humanity.

In other news, Michelle is a dumbass, a.k.a. the Longboard Incident. Basically, I went down the the hill between Campbell Library and the Student Center – the steepest hill on campus - on my friend John’s longboard and pulled an 45i4N PH41L. (A.U. Yay for 1337 speak!) So my left elbow just fails right now. Yippee for that. But until I fell, I had loads of fun.

My plan is, no matter how little I see the college friends or how much I see the high school friends, to make the most of break, which hopefully will be the best of both worlds (can’t believe I just quoted a Hannah Montana song *shudders*).

I think I’ll leave my ramblings to next time. I work everyday this week save Christmas, so I need sleep now. (“Sleep? What’s that? Is it edible?”)
